Dori manages early childhood program quality evaluations for school districts, municipalities, states, early head start grantees and multi-site child care programs. Dori oversees SRC’s data collection activities including participating in the design of data collection protocols; recruiting, training, and supervising an extensive team of data collectors, child assessors and assessment coordinators on various data collection instruments; implementation of fieldwork, data management and analysis; report writing and document review. As project manager, Dori communicates and maintains relationships with clients, monitors budgets and reports project progress as well as troubleshooting issues that arise in the field. Prior to joining SRC, Dori spent close to a decade at the American Federation of Teachers and the Center for the Child Care Workforce. In this position, Dori developed, coordinated, and implemented the organization’s early childhood programmatic activities including public policy and research to promote high-quality early childhood education. Dori received her M.S. in Educational Administration and Policy Studies, and her B.A. in English, with a concentration in Education, from the State University of New York at Albany.
