“I have always been interested in how and why people think the way that they do. Education allows me to combine that curiosity with my other passion: helping to create a kinder world. There is so much suffering in this world that could be alleviated if everyone was equipped from an early age with the social and emotional tools that they need. At SRC I wake up every day knowing that I am helping to make sure that all children receive the start in life that they deserve.”
Maya is a systems thinker who looks at the big picture and figures out how the pieces fit together to make that picture into reality.
